Leysha is a cloud based business efficiency application. Leysha can be used from anywhere and from any device.In leysha there is an option to add multiple office locations of a company.
- 2. In leysha do I have to login separately for managing data for each of my office locations?All the employees at various locations can be managed in leysha by using single login. All the team members and staff will have their login credential to manage their own data and their team. On the top there is a super admin login that will have all the rights and control. Super admin can give permission to other staff according to their role and designation.Login to the admin account, filter office location, select shift (optional) and get statistics. By default, overall employees attendance report can be managed.
- 3. How does leysha help employees in terms of ease and flexibility if we talk about daily attendance?Leysha is easy to use business efficiency software. No long training periods are required for both employees and employers. Attendance punching mode can be selected out of various options available with Leysha software.Leysha’s Web Application- Employees can enter the office and punch attendance through a web application while sitting on their work desk. No need to stand in que for entering time manually in the register.Login to leysha account using your email id and password. Click on the punch-in button. Submit your day plan or select your task on which you are going to work.
Leysha’s Mobile Application- This option can be opted for on-field employees like sales representatives, delivery persons or service engineers. Leysha Biometric integration - For the companies that use access control and biometric machines at the staff entry and exit, leysha can also be integrated with their biometric machine. Attendance data is recorded and reflected in the leysha attendance section at real time. All the in and out of an employee will be recorded and managers will get actual working hours of an employee.Connect your biometric machine with the internet and we will exchange a few settings in it. Leysha will start communicating with a biometric machine for exchanging data. - 4. How will I get to know that an employee has punched his attendance from his work desk and not from anywhere else?In leysha there is a setting where we can restrict an employee to punch his attendance from a particular IP/Network only.
- 6. Can I generate payslip with leysha software?Payslip can be generated on request of an employee or it can also be automated on payroll generation. Employees will automatically get payslip on their email id at the time of payroll generation. Payroll has the company’s logo and other details as a header.
- 7. How holidays can be defined in leysha.Holiday calendar can be defined at the start of the financial year. Payroll will consider holidays for processing salaires.Visit the holiday section. Click on add new button. Fill the required fields. Save holiday to add the holiday in the holiday calendar.

We have deductions from salary on late coming and early living or not completing defined working hours in our company, can it be managed in leysha?Yes, deductions on late coming and early living can be defined in leysha. There is an option of grace period also after which late coming can be counted. Number of late coming after which deduction should be applied can also be defined.Some companies have flexible working hours. Time restriction is not there but defined working hours has to be completed. That can also be managed in leysha.Example:- My office shift timings are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. I have given 15 minutes as a grace period for late coming. 2 late comings are allowed and after that half day will be applied for that day. So if any employee punched his attendance after 10:15 am more than twice, on the third late coming automatically his half day will be applied.

What are different modes of attendance I can use in leysha for employees in different departments having different types of work profile.Leysha Attendance with Web App- If someone from Accounts or back office department wants to punch attendance they can use Leysha web app as they have a computer system assigned to them for work.
Leysha Attendance with Mobile App- Someone from the sales and marketing department those who travel frequently and visit client places can punch their attendance with Leysha Mobile App with their location tracked.
Leysha Attendance with Biometric Machine- Someone from the warehouse department, those who don’t have any computer system assigned, nor they don’t have to visit on-field can punch their attendance through a biometric machine integrated with Leysha Software.

What kind of Attendance reports i can view and export from leyshaDaily attendance report, Date wise attendance report and date wise summary report can be filtered and exported from leysha mobile app.In daily attendance report one can view details like name of employee, employee code, punch-in time, punch-out time, net hours worked, punch-in and punch-out summary. Report can be filtered with date. Report can be exported in excel sheet.
In a date wise attendance report, one can view the report of a particular employee for a selected date slab. Details like name of employee, employee code, punch-in time, punch-out time, net hours worked, punch-in and punch-out summary can be viewed.
In a date wise summary attendance report, we can select a date slab for exporting attendance details of all the employees in a company or for a particular location.
- 11. How will I know that on field employee has punched attendance from where he is supposed to do so? He might have marked his attendance from his home.While punching attendance from leysha mobile app, location can be tracked and complete movement of employees for the whole day can be monitored.As soon as an employee punches his attendance with leysha mobile app, his location tracking is activated. Reporting manager or admin can view his live location as well as back track for any historical date or time. These reports can also be exported in excel sheet.

Can i maintain employee information in leyshaYes, leysha has a separate employee section where documents and other important personal and professional information can be saved and accessed at the time it is required from anywhere.In leysha employer can save Personal information, pay details, Qualification, Documents contract, work experience and other important information about employees

How can I delete an employee from the leysha if someone resigned from his position?If an employee is no longer associated with the company then the admin can ban that employee instead of deleting it. After getting banned, an employee can not log into leysha using his login credentials.Go to the employee section, Click on change status button. Select current status and save it.
- 14. How to add employees in leysha?
From the left menu on the dashboard click employees and then ‘add employees’ button. A form will appear on the screen. Fill the required field and save it to add employees in leysha. Email id used while adding an employee can be used to login in leysha by that employee. Passwords can be reset later by the employees.
- 15. How payroll is linked to attendance.Most important element for calculating payroll is the number of days and hours employees have worked in a month for an organization. So attendance is the primary factor for calculating payroll apart from that other element includes leaves, overtime, holidays, statutory compliances, etcPayroll in leysha can be processed by simply clicking on the ‘process payroll button’. After that, Select employee manually or process payroll for all the employees at the same time by automating it.
- 16. I have different earning and deductions heads , they are not standard one. How can I manage it in leysha?Admin can create various earning and deduction heads as required according to company policy. Few heads are predefined and customized heads can be created later according to the needs of the company.Go to the configuration section. Click on employee and then salary. Select the type of head you want to create i.e. earning or deduction. Give the title to head. Mark the nature of the head with fixed or percentage and save it.
- 17. Our organization has multiple shifts and we keep shuffling employees accordingly. How can I manage it with Leysha?In leysha there is an option to create as many shifts as the admin wants as per their requirement and then shifts can be assigned to employees manually. Whenever it is required to change shift of an employee, the reporting manager or admin can edit and select a new shift out of the list.Go to the configuration section. Click on employees and select shit. Add a new shift. Fill the details like Shift name, Minimum working hour, grace time etc and save the shift.
18. Can I calculate Overtime and undertime of employees? Can I link working hours with payroll in leysha software?Yes, Overtime and undertime can be calculated in leysha. Different shifts can be defined and assigned to employees. If employees work over that time, monetary rewards can be defined and linked to payroll and if employees don't complete minimum working hours, deductions can be defined and linked to payroll.
19. Can I manage statutory compliances in leysha.Yes, EPF, ESIC and PT can be managed in leysha. It can be defined one time in leysha and can be considered at the time of processing payroll. Different reports can also be exported.Go to configuration, Click on employee and select EPF or ESIC for defining rules and save it for applying it on employee’s salary
20. How leaves are managed in leysha.At the starting of the financial year different leave heads can be defined in leysha as per company policies. Number of leaves under a particular leave head can be defined. After that leaves can be assigned to employees according to their role and designation. Employees can apply for leave by selecting leave type and duration and at the same time reporting manager or HR can approve or reject the leave. These leaves are linked with payroll and will be reflected in salaries of employees.Employees have to login to his leysha account using his email id and password. Visit the leave section. Select request a leave button. Fill the required fields like type of leave, from and to date, attach supporting documents if any like medical certificate etc and send request to the reporting manager or HR.
21. How to add a shift in leysha?Click on the setting icon on the upper right corner and then click on configuration. From the left tab click on employee and then click on shift. By using the ‘add new’ button, you can add a new shift in leysha.
22. How to assign shifts to employees in leysha?From the left menu on the dashboard, click ‘employee’ to access the employee list. Select a particular employee to whom you want to assign a shift. From the left tab select shift. Using the ‘add new’ button you can assign shifts to employees.
23. How to update attendance in leysha when an employee forgets to punch due to some genuine reason?Click on attendance from the left menu. From the sub-menu click ‘update attendance’. Select employee name and date for whom you want to update attendance. From here you can add new punch-in and punch-out time or you can edit the recorded time if required.
24. How can i process payroll at the end of monthPayroll in leysha can be processed manually or it can also be automated. Considering all the protocols defined for calculating payrolls like attendance, leave, holidays, overtime/undertime, Statutory deductions, incentives etc payroll can be processed and payslip can be shared with employees (optional).Go to the employee section, click on payroll. Select process payroll button. From dropdown select required fields like location , month , name of employee etc and generate payroll. Before saving the final payroll, there is an option to do corrections if there is any otherwise you can continue generating payroll.
25. Can I keep soft copy of employee’s document in leyshaYes, leysha has a separate employee section where documents and other important personal and professional information can be saved and accessed at the time it is required from anywhere.In leysha, view profile of the employee. Click on the document section. Select add document button. Fill required fields and attach documents. Save it for future reference. Latter these documents can be accessed from anywhere and from any device.
26. Is there any option to generate offer letter from leyshaYes, We can pre define template of offer letter in leysha. While generating an offer letter for an employee, we can select a template and generate an offer letter using existing details of employees in leysha like name, designation, salary etc. No need to feed these details manually.Go to the employee section, select the employee. click on documents and then select generate documents. Pop up will be opened with a saved offer letter format. Do the necessary changes and save the document.
27. Our company has different forms related to surveys, employee and client feedback. Is there any option to manage forms in leysha?Yes, Leysha has features of dynamic forms. Customized forms can be designed having different types of fields in single form like yes/no, dropdown option, comment section, numerical only field for mobile numbers. These forms can be used in mobile applications and submitted forms can be managed in leysha web applications.
28. What are different modules in leysha I can use to automate my work in my organization?Leysha is designed and developed for Small, medium and growing companies. We have kept in mind all the practical approaches and requirements of companies and tried to offer 360 degree solutions to organizations. 29. What is a regularization request?Regularization requests are sent by employees for updating their attendance to HR. Employees can find a regularization request option in the attendance section. They can select request type and actual punch-in and/or punch-out time and submit the request to HR. HR can accept the request to update the attendance.
30. How can employees apply for leave?From the left menu, click on the leave button to access the leave section. Click on the ‘request’ button on the upper right corner to open the leave request page. Select leave type, dates and attach supporting documents like medical certificates etc if required and send requests to apply for leave.
31. How can the manager / admin approve or reject the leave request?Admin/HR can access the leave section for taking action on all the leave request. Click on view button in front of leave on which action is to be taken.
32. How to update the holiday calendar?To update the holiday calendar click on the leave section. From the sub-menu click on ‘Holiday’. Click on ‘add new’ button to add a holiday. Fill the required fields and save it.

- 1. What are the benefits of the task module in leysha?
Task Management allows you to easily define action items for different individuals. You can club multiple tasks together or assign multiple employees to the same task. Each task carries it's start as well as end date, priority, team members involved and who is regulating that task. Task members can post their updates and share files too. This brings all communication as well as acivity log associated with any task under one thread which can looked into anytime in future. Task owners can monitor progress and rate performance. Leysha, continuously analyses data points from task management bringing in valuable insights.
- 2. How can I create and assign tasks in leysha?
Leysha is easy to use software and no long training sessions are required. Creating a task is a simple and quick activity that you can do frequently for your employees.
Step 1- Click on Task in the left menu to enter into the task module.
Step 2- Click on Add New button to create a new task
Step 3- Fill the required fields like Title of the task, start date and end date, select employees to whom you are going to assign tasks. You can select multiple employees also. Priority is to define the weightage of the task. You can also tag task with group name which will help latter to filter the similar task while checking status. Explain in detail about the task in the description section. Attach supporting files and save the task.
Step 4- All the employees to whom a task has been assigned will get notification and they can start working on it accordingly.
- 3. Can I predefine task templates in leysha?
Yes, task templates can be predefined and saved for future. Task templated can be used later at the time of assigning tasks. It will save time in case one has to create and assign a similar pattern of task frequently.
- 4. How can I give ratings to employees after task completion?
From the task list select the task by clicking on view (arrow) button. From the left tabs select the last option i.e ‘Employee Ratings’. List of employees with star ratings in front of their name will be displayed. Owner of the task can give rating to all the employees associated with the task.
- 5. What is the benefit of defining task priority while creating tasks in leysha?
Every employee has one or other task at a time. When we assign a new task to an employee he has to decide which task is to be completed first. If the priority of the task is defined, it will be more clear and easy to make decisions about which task has to be done first.
- 6. How can I manage multiple tasks for employees from different departments having different nature of work?
In leysha, there is an option to create indoor and outdoor tasks. So if a task has to be assigned to back office employees, an indoor task can be selected and if the task has to be assigned to the sales or delivery department, a trip task can be selected.
- 7. Can I assign multiple tasks to a single employee?
Yes, multiple tasks can be assigned to the same employees. There is no restriction on the number of tasks that can be assigned to a single employee. Leysha works intelligently and prompts about a number of tasks that have already been assigned to employees to balance workload between employees of similar expertise. If after knowing that you want to assign, it will not restrict it.
- 8. How can I track progress of tasks assigned to a group of employees?
For checking the progress of the task, click on the task section from the left menu. View task by clicking on the arrow button. Click on the ‘Task Update’ tab from left. Now you can check real time progress of tasks and updates from all the employees those are part of that particular task.
- 9. How can I track if the task compilation deadline is over?
Click on the task button from the left menu to enter into the task section. Click on the ‘Filter’ button. Now you can select the due date to get all the tasks as a result that matches your data. Tasks can also be filtered using other parameters also like Priority, status or assigned to.
- 10. How can I track employee performance on the basis of task ratings?
Click on the task from the left menu to enter into the task section. Click on the ‘user task rating’ button. You will get the list of employees and their overall rating along with details like no. of task, completed task, overdue task and average rating. You can also filter the task with designation and office location.
- 11. Can I assign outdoor tasks to employees? How?
Click on the task from the left menu to enter the task section. Click on the ‘Add New’ button to define a new task. Now select a trip task. Fill the required fields, like title of the task, start and end date, add employees to whom task is to be assigned, define priority, explain purpose of the task in description section, attach supporting files.
After filling required fields, now you can define the start point and customer where the employee has to reach on a particular date and time. If there are multiple customers to be met the same day you can keep on adding routes in the same task. You can also view the route map of the employee for that particular day. If you have finished adding details you can save the task for assignment.
- 12. I have a project to be completed by a group of employees. How can I manage smooth completion with tracking of daily updates?
You can break a project into multiple tasks. These tasks can be created and assigned to different employees according to their knowledge and expertise. While creating a task you can tag it by name of Group/ project by adding it in a specific group. So a combination of tasks will make a project.
For checking updates you can use filters for selecting all the tasks in particular group/project and check individual updates.
- 13. How do employees get notificated on assignment of new tasks or task updates?
Generally employees/owners of tasks get notification in leysha. Another option is to check mark the ‘enable email notification’ option while creating the task if you want to get notification on email.
- 14. Can I give a rating to employees as per task performance?
Yes, rating can be given as per task performance after compilation of tasks..
- 15. Can I set priority of tasks when assigned to employees?
Yes, priority of the task can be defined while creating the task by selecting it from the dropdown.
- 16. Can I edit the task
Yes, tasks can be edited. Click on the task from the left menu to get into the task section. In the task list you will find the edit icon in front of task name from where you can edit the task.
- 1. Order Module
- 1. How is the order module useful for my business?
`Traditionally businesses are raising orders on the phone from their dealers / distributors or executives are noting it down with pen and paper. There are major chances of error. Also it does not give a good impression to your customers. When you take orders manually then you have to forward it to the dispatch department for further processing which is another hectic job. Apart from that if you have to check order status you have to call the concerned person and check. Customer calling you for a new order is good, but if he continuously calling you for order status then it's a waste of time for both business and customer.
All these challenges can be met by shifting your Sales and order management to leysha.ai. You can list your products category wise with images and prices. Product variants can also be added. Discount and taxes can be managed according to products. Yes, In leysha.ai products and services both can be managed in an order module. For services you can also select the frequency for which you are selling. Apart from that prices can be set for all the services individually.
- 3. How can I list my product or services in leysha for order booking?
From the left menu click on order. From the sub-menu select the product. Click on the add-new button. Fill required fields like Product name, Brand, Category name, Product type, Unit, SKU, Barcode, Discount offered, Price, Margin in percentage, Selling price, manage stock and applicable tax. Descriptions can be added for more clarity about the product. Save the form for adding products.
- 4. Can I list my products or services category wise?
Yes, While adding products in leysha, there is a field which asks for category. By selecting the appropriate category you can list your product category wise.
- 5. Can I add different variants of products like size, color, capacity etc?
Yes, product variants can be selected while adding products in leysha. For different variant you can select SKU, Barcode, Price, Margin separately.
- 6. Can I manage Taxes and discounts according to product or location for which order is getting booked?
Yes, taxes and discounts can be predefined and it can be edited before punching final order in the cart. Sometimes it happens that taxes vary between locations. Also sometimes the discount depends on the order quantity. Leysha has been designed keeping in mind about practical usages while punching orders.
- 8. How to book orders in leysha?
For booking order, click on orders from the left menu. From the sub menu select ‘book an order’. Select customer type and name of customer. ’Select product from various categories and its quantity. Add to cart. Review your order and book it. Back office will automatically receive notification about new orders for further processing it to the dispatch department.

- 1. What is employee location tracking in leysha?
Companies that have on-field employees like service engineers, Sales executives or delivery teams, want to keep eye on the working of these employees. Calling employees repeatedly for updates sometimes becomes time consuming and it also puts hurdles in the flow of work. Employees are in meetings sometimes or they are driving so its not possible for them to always answer phone calls. Leysha.ai brings in a solution as employee tracking. Employees can download and login into the leysha app. Once the punch in tracking gets on. Real time location can be synced to the admin account (or to whom permission has been given) and back track can be done for historic data. These reports can also be downloaded in excel sheets.
- 2. Do I have to install the leysha app for getting tracked?
Yes, Leysha mobile app can be downloaded from play store and users can login using their credentials. Once they have login, they have to punch in and out on a daily basis to mark their attendance and put tracking on and stop.

- 3. How many employees can I track at a time?
There is no such limitation. All the present employees will be visible on screen at the same time. You can filter employees you want to see by their location and name.
- 4. Can I track an employee when he is offline or gps is off?
Yes, employees can be tracked with their GPS off by cell tower location. Accuracy will be a bit low but you will get the location of the nearest cell tower. The Internet is necessary while punching in and out. If after that employee switches off the data or there is some network issue, tracking data is stored in a mobile device and when the next time the internet is connected all the data will automatically sync to the server and admin can check locations of an employee.
- 5. Can I calculate distance travelled by employees with the help of an employee tracking feature?
Yes, leysha has a feature to display distance travelled by employees for that particular date. The distance calculated is not 100 percent accurate but that is a tentative distance travelled by an employee on that particular date.
- 6. Along with live track, can i back track employee for particular date or time
Yes, backtracking can be done for historical dates for which you want to check the travelled location of employees. You have to select the date and name of the employee. Complete route map will be displayed as a result of your query. You can also download the report.
- 13. What is tracking status in the employee tracking module?
With the help of tracking status you can check status of user i.e stop/moving, You can check GPS status, You can check battery status. These data will will help you monitor about whether employee is following all the rules related to tracking or not.

- 1. What is the configuration setting? How can I set protocols for different modules with configuration settings?
Admin can find the configuration option by clicking on the setting icon on the upper right corner of leysha’s dashboard. In the company configuration section admin can set protocols for all the modules like salary, leaves, attendance, shift etc. Admin can add heads related to salary, department and designation. Overall modules setting can be managed through the configuration section.
- 2. What is the step for defining protocols of my company in leysha through company configuration?
From the upper right corner on the dashboard, click on the setting button for accessing the company configuration section. Now from here you can select the category first from the left tab out of General, Employee, Leave, Award and Expenses. After selecting the respective category you will find further options to select specific module or feature you want to set protocol for.
In the employee section you can add/edit ‘Role’, you can manage settings related to attendance, Salary, add/edit Shifts, EPF and ESi.
In the leave section, you can add customized heads for leaves, define the number of leaves in heads and also manage settings related to leave approval.
In expense, you can add customized heads for expenses and also manage settings related to expense approval.
- 5. How to add a department in leysha?
From the upper right corner on the dashboard select setting icon, click on the department. With the ‘add new’ button you can add a department to your company.
- 6. How to add Designation in leysha?
From the upper right corner on the dashboard select setting icon, click on the Designation. With the ‘add new’ button you can select the department for which you want to create a designation. Example: If you want to add a designation with the name ‘sales manager’, you can select the sales department. After that select the top designation from the group down, type designation name and save it to create a new designation in your company.
